Louisville PPD 2020 Cancelled

Hey, everyone. We have some sad news to share. The organizing committee has voted and it was decided that Louisville’s Pagan Pride will be cancelled this year. This was a very hard decision to make and it was made with the safety of our community at heart. We could not in good conscious bring people together when there is still a very real risk. We connected with several medical professionals in our community and they all expect to see another surge of cases in the Fall. That, coupled with the lack of enforceable guidelines for large events to help keep people safe, was what lead to our decision.

The committee is talking about hosting a Spring event such as a picnic to bring the community together when it is safe to do so. Until then, we are thinking of you all and we can’t wait to see you when we can once again come together and celebrate as a community.

Much Love to you all.

Stay tuned for LPPD 2021 Dates!

Calling all Weather Witches!

Some of you may have noticed the weather forecast for this weekend of impending rain.  We are letting you know that Louisville Pagan Pride Day ’18 is still on.  The coordinators are looking at ways we modify the event to keep everyone safe and dry.

This is a “Rain or Shine” event and we have been very fortunate over the past several years to have more than positive weather.  Including one year that rained in the morning and then turned beautiful in the afternoon.  Lots of folks turned up after the rain stopped and it was a perfect day.  Such are the perils of an outdoor event.

There will be many events on the waterfront this year, and not just ours.  We are asking all Weather Witches out there to create a Weather Wedge around the city of Louisville to create a beautiful and perfect day on Saturday.  We are also including this into our opening ritual.

If you are unfamiliar to what a Weather Wedge is, please lend your energies and intentions to those that do, or your energies and intentions to creating a picture-perfect day.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at 11:00 AM on September 8 for Opening Ritual.
